The Auctomatic mission is making selling online easy. We think it should be simple to take your stuff and list it on marketplaces like eBay, Amazon and Overstock. But it shouldn't end there. Auctomatic does more than just let you list your items and manage your sales - it teaches how you can maximize your profits and to increase the success of your business. With Auctomatic you can be running your own successful online business in no time.
Now it's time to meet the team!

John is a little Irishman with a big heart. Being Patrick's younger brother you might think it'd be tough working together but John has learnt from his older sibling to become a powerful web developer in his own right. John works on the finer details of the user experience, making sure things stitch together nicely. He is also a fan of Rails and manages the dynamic and pragmatic side of the coding work. John's uncanny ability to pick up new technologies at a scarily rapid pace make him a powerful asset in the Auctomatic family.
Harjeet enjoys the challenge of building things and gets involved in pretty much every aspect of Auctomatic. While studying law at Oxford, he finished as a Finalist in the National Graduate of the Year Competition and was also voted one of the Freshminds "50 Ones to Watch". He co-founded boso.com with Kulveer and secured national press coverage in all the major news publications. After working with several international law firms Harjeet decided the time was right to move onto something new and build his own company. Harjeet generally maintains an all or nothing approach to life. One day you might find him going to the gym twice a day and surviving on cans of tuna and the next he'll be finishing off his second pizza.
Kulveer has always made things happen. Whilst still in college at Oxford, he had already started investing in property. He then went on to be a founding member and President of the Oxford Entrepreneurs society, the largest student entrepreneurship society in the UK. His first internet venture, boso.com, quickly grew into the largest online student marketplace in the UK. Upon graduation he worked as an Investment Banker with Deutsche Bank. However after developing an allergy to tailored suits and cufflinks, he left to work on Auctomatic full time.
Patrick has been working with computers for as long as he can remember. When he was just 15 he wrote his own programming language which won him Irish Young Scientist of the Year and runner up European Young Scientist of the Year. It's been reported that Patrick can actually talk to computers (imagine Doctor Dolittle with less fur and more hardware) though we're yet to hear them talk back. Patrick gained admission to MIT aged just 17 but decided to move on so he can could dedicate himself to redefining selling online. Aside from computers, Patrick has run a marathon and is a keen long-distance cyclist. Any programming language that most people think is dead is good with Patrick.
Phil is very much the all-rounder of the engineering team. He likes to dabble in everything from user interfaces, to feature development through to back-end infrastructure. He has a keen focus on what the user wants and keeps us in line with that. Phil has also been known to go for scarily long periods without sleeping (we've learnt that after an intense coding session, the words "I'll be heading home to Palo Alto in a few" actually means "please don't wake me in the morning when I'm crashed out on the office floor after working through the night again").
Brian is a no nonsense kind of guy. He works exclusively on front-end feature development and knows the eBay API documentation like the back of his hand. Brian can churn out code like a demon and prefers working in short intense bursts of productivity. He's also a simple fellow. He doesn't do healthy stuff or any food that's remotely green. Exercise is pointless, all he needs to stay happy is Coca Cola (lots of it), McDonalds and brown sauce. Oh and we suspect he may be a vampire as he tends to stray away from being awake during daylight hours.
The Auctomatic team would like to say a quick thank you to Ceezoom, the designer of our lovely icons.
